Why We Started WebMaitri

It started with a frustration. Too many small businesses in Delhi were being sold overpriced, over-engineered IT solutions by companies that disappeared the moment the invoice was paid. Business owners would end up with websites they couldn't update, software they couldn't use, and nobody to call when things broke.

We started WebMaitri to do things differently. To be the IT company you could actually call. To give straightforward advice without the upsell. To build things that work โ€” and explain how they work so you're never dependent on us.

Five years later, that founding philosophy is still the reason our clients stick with us. Not because we locked them into contracts โ€” but because we treated them like partners from day one.

๐Ÿค Why "Maitri"?

"Maitri" (เคฎเฅˆเคคเฅเคฐเฅ€) is a Sanskrit word meaning friendship, goodwill, and benevolence. It's the spirit of genuine care for the people around you. We chose this name because it reflects exactly how we want to work โ€” as a true friend to every business we partner with. Not a vendor. Not a contractor. A friend who happens to know a lot about technology.

Our Guiding Values

These principles shape every conversation we have, every proposal we write, and every line of code we ship.

Friendship First

We treat every client as a long-term partner, not a one-time transaction. Your growth is our measure of success.

Radical Honesty

We'll tell you when you don't need something expensive. We'd rather lose a sale than give bad advice that wastes your money.

Innovation with Purpose

We use modern technology because it solves problems better โ€” not to impress you with jargon or justify higher fees.

Full Transparency

Open pricing, plain-language explanations, and honest timelines. No surprises on your invoice or your deadline.

Community Roots

We're invested in Delhi's small business ecosystem. When local businesses thrive, everyone benefits โ€” including us.

The People You'll Work With

A small, skilled team with a big commitment to your project's success. When you work with WebMaitri, you deal directly with the people doing the work โ€” not account managers passing messages.

Proudly Delhi-Based. Genuinely Local.

There are thousands of IT companies in India. So why choose a local Delhi team? Because when something goes wrong โ€” and occasionally, something always does โ€” you want to be able to call a real person who can come to your office if needed.

Same Time Zone, Same Language

No 3am emails to an overseas developer. We work Delhi hours and we speak plain Hindi and English โ€” no tech jargon unless you want it.

We Know Your Market

We understand Delhi's business culture, Razorpay vs PayTM preferences, UPI expectations, and Indian consumer behaviour online.

We Can Meet in Person

Some clients prefer face-to-face. We're available for in-person meetings in Delhi and NCR โ€” a reassurance that no overseas company can offer.

Common Questions

Honest answers to the questions we hear most often from new clients.

Do you work with clients outside Delhi? +
Yes, absolutely. While we're based in Delhi and love meeting local clients in person, we've successfully delivered projects for businesses in Mumbai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and smaller cities across India โ€” all done remotely via video calls, WhatsApp, and shared documents.
How long does a typical website project take? +
A standard business website (5โ€“8 pages) typically takes 3โ€“4 weeks from start to launch. E-commerce stores with large catalogues usually take 5โ€“7 weeks. Custom software timelines depend heavily on complexity โ€” we'll give you a realistic timeline after the discovery call before you commit to anything.
What happens after my website launches? +
All projects include a free support period (30โ€“90 days depending on scope) for bug fixes and minor tweaks. After that, you can choose a monthly maintenance plan or contact us on-demand. We also offer training sessions so your team can manage routine updates themselves if you prefer.
Can I see the code / own my website? +
Yes โ€” you own everything we build for you. We hand over full source code, hosting credentials, and domain access. We don't hold your digital assets hostage. Our goal is to be your long-term partner because you want to work with us, not because you have to.
Do you offer EMI or instalment payment options? +
Yes. For projects above โ‚น25,000, we typically split payment into three milestones: 30% at kickoff, 40% at design approval, and 30% at launch. For larger custom software projects, we can discuss a more extended schedule. We want to work with you โ€” cash flow shouldn't be the barrier.
